BTC® 2125M

BTC 2125M is a quaternary for formulation into a wide variety of institutional and industrial cleaning applications, water treatment, gas/oil drilling muds, and packer fluids, gas/oil recovery injection water systems, and wood preservation. This biocidal active is associated with U.S. EPA-registered end-use formulations that meet the criteria for applications against emerging viral pathogens and therefore may be considered for use as hard surface disinfectants against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. These end-use products, containing BTC 2125M can include a defined efficacy statement off-label in technical literature, non-label related websites, consumer information services, and social media sites, in accordance with the U.S. EPA’s policy. Detergent Disinfectant Pump Spray containing BTC 2125M, has also received approval of the SARS-CoV-2 efficacy claim. Subregistrants will now be able to make approved on-label COVID-19 related claims on EPA Reg. No. 1839-83.
