BTC® 2125M-80%

BTC 2125M-80% is a quaternary for formulation into a wide variety of institutional and industrial cleaning applications, water treatment, gas/oil drilling muds, and packer fluids, gas/oil recovery injection water systems, and wood preservation. This biocidal active is associated with U.S. EPA-registered end-use formulations that meet the criteria for applications against emerging viral pathogens and therefore may be considered for use as hard surface disinfectants against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. These end-use products, containing BTC 2125M-80% can include a defined efficacy statement off-label in technical literature, non-label related websites, consumer information services, and social media sites, in accordance with the U.S. EPA’s policy. Detergent Disinfectant Pump Spray, containing BTC 2125M-80%, has also received approval of the SARS-CoV-2 efficacy claim. Subregistrants will now be able to make approved on-label COVID-19 related claims on EPA Reg. No. 1839-83.
